Welcome to Part 3 of our Car Race Game in Scratch. In this tutorial we show you how to add a Best Lap Time recorder, add some random oil hazards that make the car spin out of control, and how to add a Game Over message after 10 laps have been completed. This is our final Car Race Tutorial, te game is now finished. Our "Beat the Clock" single car lap time game. was based originally on a game by "Spark98" called "Awesome Car Race" which we downloaded from the MIT Scratch site. However we have made quite a few additions to this original game.
